What starts with a C and moved to the Ylvaine Protectorate?
"Both. That's why she commissioned you specifically. Something about how your art will be able to compliment her stature or something. She wants six copies of whatever you come up with that meets her demands. That said, the client doesn't want you to design something that looks pretty but collapses at the first blow. The mechs you design will have to be at least as formidable as the Blackbeaks and the Crystal Lords."

The reason why this isn't a issue is because he MTA regulates the sale of licenses and titles for mech designs. Companies cannot set the prices for either, which protects the rights of the designer. That's why it was such a big deal they put a price tag of 5 billion on the license. Now Ves or another designer could make a design and sell it to another entity before submitting it to the MTA, but that's a different issue entirely.

The issue is that Ves has no real incentive to drive him to get said combat training or to be forced into it. Circumstances like this are supposed to be few and far between for mech designers, if they happen at all. It's more effective for Ves to hire guards, he just can't at the moment due to temporarily being part of the military.

It's not like he'll go into the vault and eat the CFA stuff Ves worked so hard for or anything, right?
"Good. Make sure to keep a handle on him and don't let him wander around."

If I had to guess, it's likely something related to spirituality. It's previously been explained that Clones lack something, likely spirituality and/or sentience, and it wouldn't be surprising to find out that such a thing extends to early development genetic alteration. It might also work akin to certain theories in physics where observing something can either change or limit its potential outcomes.

Not actually eugenics, seeing as she came from a poor family that wouldn't be able to influence her genes even if they wanted to.
"As I've already mentioned, her genes are exquisitely perfect! In addition to that, she contains more activated genes that are known to be beneficial to mech pilots than every other expert pilot that I've laid my eyes on. The simplest way to put it is that her body has a lot of good switches, and most of them are flicked in the right way."

The Irish accent strikes again!
Nevertheless, the lack of weight in her voice didn't detract from her gravitas. The Vandals followed her orders without question, as if they had absolute fate in her leadership.

I think you're missing the point here. Ves isn't being petty here, he's being professional. Ves should not forgive the insults directed at him, given the scope of them, however he is willing to not let them impact his future professional dealings with Morgan. You can personally not like someone but still work with them.
"I won't forgive you, but I'm willing to let matters go." He eventually replied. "Don't be so quick to believe in conspiracies next time."

This guy should honestly just be replaced at this point. If you're not going to do your job during wartime, you shouldn't have that job.
For some reason, the Republican Commissioner remained mum and did not face the public in order to advocate for calm and solidarity. With the critical absence of the only figure on the planet that could unite both sides, the contradictions between the two sides widened to an extreme.

I'm kinda thinking of something like Jhin's gun, and him adding parts to make it a sniper rifle.
The Amastendira is a masterwork laser pistol hand-crafted by Pierre Femento, the renowned Rubarthan laser gunsmith. The Amastendira is part of a set of three pistols. It is rumored that the three pistols can be combined into a single super-rifle which can pose a threat to a cutting-edge mech.

Why are people judging you? Because you won the lottery and are flushing it down the toilet. Anyone in the Larkinson family that judges you does so because they know how lucky you are to be a potentate, and you essentially are spitting on their dreams that the majority of them will never be able to accomplish.
"Hey! They're not all brutes like in the dramas! Many of them are like Fadah and Dietrich. I envy them, you know. All of the Whalers act like brothers to each other. The Blood Claws already treat me like a sister that I feel more welcome in their midst than back at the Larkinson Compound. All I get from cousins like you are snide remarks and disapproving looks. I'm fed up with that!"

This should not even be an issue due to the information restriction on the Glowing Planet. Newly arriving forces have no information about current events, and neither should the LMC.
As for Ves, he remained ignorant of the proactive decisions made behind his back. Instead, he blissfully spent his days aboard the Gregarious Wrath. Chief Petrisc granted him a fair amount of liberties, as if he didn't have a care in the galaxy if Ves attempted to sabotage the giant tunneler.

This is great and all, but for one problem. To our knowledge, only military forces have a quantum entanglement node active, not even larger forces like the Blood Claws have access to them, let alone the smaller outfits that actually are using the Blackbeaks. This information should not spread or have an impact on the LMC until after the events of the Glowing Planet have concluded.
"Even if the Glowing Planet's appearance is a disaster for the Republic, it's been a boon for the LMC. The Blackbeak's appeal is at an all-time high right now."

Wouldn't concussive weapons be largely ineffective in open space? There would be no medium for a concussive wave to travel through, and any force from the weapon itself would quickly dissipate as it fills the vacuum.
The Republic's ECM successfully fooled twenty-six into hitting non-existent targets. They only found empty space in place of solid ships and detonated quickly after, dealing little damage as few ships had been in range of their concussive blasts.
Sci-fi · Exlor
My bad for not clarifying, what I meant is that there shouldn't be a boom in popularity for the Blackbeak because of the information blackout. The boom in demand is due to the Blackbeak's performance on the Glowing Planet, information about which should not be spreading at this point.
