Sejak 10 tahun lalu, dunia dihantui teror berupa invasi makhluk-makhluk mengerikan yang berasal dari dunia lain. Karena suatu hal, mereka memang tidak bisa menampakkan diri saat siang hari. Namun, ketika matahari tenggelam, tidak akan ada seorang pun yang berani untuk keluar rumah. Breaker, yang secara harafiah memiliki arti sebagai “Penerobos”, adalah julukan bagi makhluk-makhluk itu. Lima tahun lamanya mereka dihantui oleh teror, seberkas cahaya harapan kemudian muncul. Beberapa manusia mendapatkan kemampuan untuk menciptakan keajaiban. Seolah-olah keajaiban tersebut merupakan anugerah langsung dari Tuhan dan senjata bagi mereka untuk mempertahankan kelangsungan umat manusia beserta dunia mereka. Beberapa orang mulai menyebut diri mereka sebagai Player, sedangkan kekuatan tersebut mereka namai sebagai Rune. Waktu berlalu hingga tahun 2020 tiba, namun keadaan dunia masih dalam skema abu-abu tanpa adanya pemenang. Keadaan di dunia mereka sendiri malah semakin dipersulit dengan konflik internal dan hierarki para player sehingga kemenangan umat manusia rasanya hanya tinggal angan-angan belaka. Ini adalah kisah seorang player yang hidupnya berubah dalam satu malam, dan harus menapaki perjalanan penuh penderitaan. Perlahan demi perlahan, perjalanannya akan menyibak misteri dan teror yang menyelimuti semesta mereka. Misteri mengenai Breaker, misteri mengenai manusia, dan misteri mengenai dunia. dan misteri mengenai dirinya.

Since ten years ago, the world had been terrorized by the invasion of the otherworldly monsters. For some reasons they could only appear at night. But after the sun came down, not a single person would dare to step outside of the house. Because, they were lurking in the darkness of night. They were called as [Breakers], as they were the one who broke through and invade this world. After five years of darkness, shone a glimmmer of light of hope. Mankind found its salvation. Powers, mirages, and magic came in many ways to those who were chosen, as if it was the answer to the prayers. It was believed that those miracles were the blessing from God to aid the mankind to overcome their grim crisis. Some of the people then called themselves as the [Players], who wielded the power of [Rune]. Others then agreed upon the name, and thus, the Players were born. The wheel of time rolled until the year of 2020 came, but the world was still under uncertainity. There were no clear winner. It was a stalemate between Earth versus the Breakers. Meanwhile, under the gray sky conflicts rose among humanity. Differences on views and opinions, discriminations, and hierarchal problems among Players made it seemed impossible for humanity to claim their victory. This is a story of a Player who got his life turned upside-down in one night. All it takes just one bad night to turn his path into living hell full of suffering and despair. litle by little, his journey will uncover the mysteries and terrors engulfed the world. The mysteries of the breakers, about humans, about the world itself. And the biggest mystery is, about his existence.
