A good story from LOTM's author. The one I like the most is the uniqueness of the story, relating magic with science. For someone coming not from science's major, the concept really excited me, knowing the 'truth' of the world. That's really a new experience.However for an action novel, I can say the fight scenes are pretty plain. It should be exciting but I only felt..."meh", especially how it's not a challenge for the MC(like getting hurt badly etc). This is the biggest flaw for me in the novel.There's might be some flaws here and there but overall it's satisfying.

I didn't expected to find hidden gem here. Even though I expected a smut slice of life story, not something like Dragon Group or something out of nothing(lol), so far everything is great especially the plot development. Hope author didn't drop this

I read it a few times but still confused... You say he heard of their conversation, even seeing the fight but in ch 1, it said that the explosion destroyed everything in dozens of metres radius. Since he only got hit by a stray stone, then that means his distance was more than that. If so, then how can he heard it? Normally, it's impossible for a normal conversation to be heard that far. The answer that I can think is whether his hearing was good or the conversation was too loud. I think that the former is impossible since he didn't started his cultivation yet so his hearing must like normal person then that means latter. But if latter there only 2 choices, whether the conversation is in yelling or they use their power to enhance their voices. If the former, there's no hint that indicated of that. Just a normal conversation except the last one to retreat. If they enhanced voices, then I don't see the point of ambush nor there's any hint about it. In other cultivation novels, if they talk normally but being heard far away, they will mention about it like saying they use the Qi or something. There's still more like how even the butler know about it/didn't even feel weird when he said that his father was killed(that incident was not an accident).

1. How can he knew about his father's death? He got hit literally on his way to him. 2. How tf he knew that his father was ambushed? First, look at no 1. Second, it should be secret since even the royal family don't know about it

Sorry, had to drop this at ch 4. Saying the writing quality as suck is exaggerated, there's not even a word that can describe how awful it was. If author remake this especially with better writing quality, it can go further seeing the synopsis. But for now, NO, NOPE AND NEVER!
