I think its a split personality, or maybe just mood swings, after all he is named Jekyll, so this must just be Hyde.
"Jekyll's Hides", which was the Grandmaster Leatherworker Jeky'll shop. To their surprise, even he more than happily agreed to come join them at the party. Out of all the people that Eisen met here in Melroe, he was the most cynical, so it was quite weird to actually see him be quite happy and borderline excited for something. This made Eisen feel kind of weird about something already, but he tried to ignore that thought to have fun with his friends tonight.

A car can and does, the Thrust SSC has maximum reported speeds of 763 mph, and there are plenty of reference videos on YouTube of it moving far past the speed of sound. In all of those, it remains pretty easy to track by eye sight, for me at least, up until around 600mph where it becomes hard to see. If the mc can move faster than human eyesight can track, to where he even appears to be instantly teleporting, then with magic bullshit skewing the number, him moving faster than bullets isn't unlikely.

It's the world of a novel, so it has a perfect excuse for a universal language to exist, since you could always just say that when ren wrote it, he had a universal language exist for sake of the the plot to be easier to move along.

But in that case, why not display things like gender or other thing, why specifically race only? out of all of the factors it could display, race seems suspicious. Plus, out of all the system novels I've read, the ones with race displayed on in the system have a race change 80% of the time.
