There was no fear in Heidi's eyes when Bruno said one day he will be marching to war. Rather, she simply smiled and nodded her head. Assuring him that she would faithfully await his return.

nope, he has 'memories' of his previous life but technically he is still 15 years old
"For your honor, my lady? I would gladly give my life!"

nobody, asked about Islam bud, we are talking about Germany in the late 1800s. The world doesn't revolve around Islam. there are different cultures, traditions and beliefs. Learn to appreciate them and their history.
Once she was gone, Bruno sighed and shook his head, thinking how much he would have fallen for the girl if he didn't have his old memories in his head. But give her five more years when she was finally an adult, and even he wouldn't be able to resist such feelings.

"Don't you ever talk like that again, Heidi! You should never blame yourself for the cruelty which this world inflicts upon you. It was not you who decided to be born a bastard. That was God's decision. And he alone bears the responsibility for what has been done to you.

I love the plot as well as the development, the mc knows his limits and is calculative, which hits the mark. His character definitely matches the title well. as the 'Broken Halo' of earth, especially when he killed Thorgan, it was unexpected but it sate very well with his character make up, I liked that he didn't gain a lot from killing Thorgan, so the fact that he is developing fast but not too OP makes it enjoyable, there are still others stronger than him, is a good thing. I especially love the unexpectedness from time to time like for example Professor Ormon. GODDAMN, that was freaking hilarious. I'd tell the author to please continue his work, its really good. and honestly although its not in the theme, i will say it would be kinda good if the MC has a love interest at some point, yea it may break character a bit, however it would offset the 'linear' fashion, and make Simon more appealing. Even if its a vivid one, a mutual companionship would work well actually. And yeah i absolutely love the themes of brutality of demons in the story, it matches the 'demons' I'd like it if it stays that way,
just say it's a good book bud
i don't really give many reviews to be honest but I just loved this one. This has a lot of potential, loved the storyline especially when Simon backstabbed Thorgan. Simon's character is really well built, the title 'Broken Halo' lives up to its name.. truly. it was unexpected yet really good at the same time. the development was slow, but worth it. I really look forward to seeing more stories like this in the future.
fu** haha, don't being that shit here, they would've done it.. probably... i guess
Still, he wanted to test some things by purposefully asking these questions while feigning innocence. He was also curious about what kind of person his 'wife' was. He had never been married before. In fact, he had plans to propose to his ex-girlfriend in case he really managed to defeat the Demon King.

loved it. hope it continues without the character getting too OP
like the whole story. I'd prefer a mass release if possible. and btw i hope the author keeps going. Ezra's character development is quite at point. I just hope the character stays true to his character.
