They will learn from the Spanish Civil War.

Yeah it is lacking especially if you compare with the country's nearest rival, Japan. The initial plans only included smaller ships as the costs would be immense. The capital ships for now will be the aircraft carriers

Submarines maybe? Kalabaw would be better

The Victoria tank took inspiration from the British Vickers Mk2. The naming of the artillery systems were from my lack of imagination. Japan, Italy, and France had something like type1, Mark1 so I went with that. I am willing to take suggestions on naming of the systems I will write live fire tests and detail some specs in the next chapters.

Not really Soviet style socialist. It is still capitalist given the high amount of private enterprises, but with a lot of regulations and social protections which were introduced after the Great Depression

Sorry for the lack of chapters. Can’t seem to write what I’m imagining at the moment. Also focusing on trying to find a job abroad so I can’t really focus on hobbies

Just remembered No Game No Life on this
So all in all, after 144 ⅓ revolutions, it would hit the floor, and it would rebound two times and then spin for about 2.34 seconds…and come up as heads.

Well they are extremely expensive, and you have to protect them as well so you need to build more screening ships.

They wouldn't like the CCP that's for sure.
ch 27 Economic Reform and Filipino First

They are a staunch anti-imperialist. They would reluctantly join the allies just because they do not like what Japan will do to the Chinese
ch 27 Economic Reform and Filipino First
War · Erica_Arcadia
Yep, by taking the idea of Pan-Asianism, the Philippines will focus on its region instead of other continents. As for tech in WW2, they will probably cooperate, albeit with reservations, with the allies since they will be at war with Japan. For the cold war, they will be at odds with the allies, though it will not escalate to conflict, since The Philippines will be the primary sponsor of revolutions in South East Asia
ch 27 Economic Reform and Filipino First
War · Erica_Arcadia
Yeah they would join, the Philippines being independent in this timeline wouldn't change the greater world history unless it happened in the early 1800s at least since the country would have a lot of time to develop.

Hmm interesting point. This timeline's counterpart to SEATO would be a good idea

Well I guess you could say that, but they do approach the economic models of the likes of today's Scandinavia. The country would still be democratic

You mean an amphibious version, yeah it will be the case. Even for the BT-5
