There are few novels that are as deep or profound as the story that was spun in these 551 chapters. There are also few stories that have such real characters in situations where the average person will likely get his head bitten off by a giant green preying mantis. Kim Dokja was one of the funniest, most down-to-earth, yet also one of the most badass characters to ever live within the realm of storytelling and writing in general. His journey, from a reader to the person weaving the story, was a rollercoaster of emotions, some happy, some sad, and some downright annoying. (Also its nice to know that our MC is into Chinese dresses, I appreciate a man with good taste). For me, this novel was something that resonated like an tuning fork being banged on the heart of Oz. Being someone who has a freakish reading ability, this novel took just over 25 hours to devour. A writer is always a reader, and a reader can always become a writer. There was only one thing at the end of this journey, and that was sadness that this journey was over. If you are reading this far, even after listening to me rant, then either you have read the novel, or are looking to see what it holds before diving into it. For the former, lets enjoy the fact that we got to read, what is in my opinion, one of the greatest pieces of internet literature to ever exist, and may the Demon King of Salvation allow us to find more gems like this one.
