if anyone is canon star wars fan who only watched the movies and is curious to know who the Yuuzhan Vong are, I would recommend going to Eckartsladder or star wars thoery channel in youtube and watch their videos on the Yuuzhan Vong invasion. Ekartsladder videos about the Yuuzhan Vong are interesting. For example he has a video on Mace windu vision about the yuuzhan vong and about Darth maul killing one in a prision.
