oh so you do know that..
"He was never mine in the first place." Aisha chortled.

exactly what I said earlier!!! hypocrite! covering up that it's for her sister when really she wants to sleep with him. she disgusts me
"He is not mine but he is my sister's husband after all. I have to protect him from that woman!" She encouraged herself.
Urban · Ethereal_Light37
then what about how she's doing it to her sister? We know her sister is a scum bag but she doesn't.. I hate people like this. lying to themselves saying it for a good reason when it's just their selfish desires. they are very hypocritical
When she saw them kissing, she felt like an ice bucket was thrown at her. She wanted to kill that woman, she wanted to hit Ethan but she kept her composure. She was in Ethan's company. She decided to speak formally. After all, Ethan was her boss. But when she came out, she rushed to the comfort room and let her tears flow.
Urban · Ethereal_Light37
not your family. you are insane getting so attached fl is a total creep. if she was a bad character we'd all hate her
"Ethan, Eli…'' She whispered. He got her angry. "Don't ever go near my family!" She threatened him. She grabbed the man's hand and locked it behind him. She was whining in pain.

if they understand love, and attraction in general then yes they should understand. if they experience it to men, just imagine that's how a woman may feel to another woman. you do not need to be gay to understand that. if you are really struggling, you probably aren't very empathetic. If what you say is true, no one should be able to understand anything unless they experience it. however we know without doubt this is untrue. some people can put themselves in others shoes, some just lack that ability. it's sad, because it's something kids need to be taught or it's very hard to learn empathy when older.
'Unless she's bisexual? Or just homosexual?' Madison thought looking at Shiro.

Lol born 96! and 9 siblings afterwards...ah China, ya did it it wrong in a heavy handed method but we all nee to start lookimg at population growth...and limiting it. Free contraception and more research on Male contraception
"Don't worry, Teacher Chen. I understand. This arrangement is pretty good." Qiao Nan smiled. Actually, she was really pleased with the arrangement. It was only 1993 now. It was unlike the 21st century where a hundred yuan would be used up in no time.

arhh I'm so glad he waits! in my country 16 and 20+ year old is illegal depending on circumstance, parents can charge for rape. the legal age is 16, but only for partners around your age or it's grooming, which is a crime. but if the guy truly waits til she's 18 its ok as in my country they will be fully graduated and starting to live independently already. otherwise they just transition from being cared for by parents, to a husband..no room for personal growth without constraints
"He is only twenty-one years old, still young." Zhai Sheng's father said, not lifting his head. He might have said it casually now, but four years later when Zhai Sheng was twenty-five years old and still without a girlfriend, he was not as calm as now.

now people.. please don't be having kids if this is how you think of them. your kids are not cash cows.
At this point, Qiao Dongliang only had one thought in his mind. If he wanted to raise a daughter, he would prefer to have one like his younger daughter.
Urban · Scarlet Phoenix
As good as dad is compared to some men...godamn that inflated male ego. but also how parents see their kids as extensions of them...
However, as both Qiao Nan and Qiao Zijin had improved in their studies, Qiao Dongliang suddenly found the source of motivation and joy in his life. If Ding Jiayi dared to oppose and provoked him, Qiao Dongliang definitely dared to deal with Ding Jiayi.

Honestly not bad dad! most men would be unable to even think of observing if she had gotten sanitary stuff or not. dad is cowardly in a way, but more then that he is just optimistic and doesn't want to see the bad and I really can't dislike him for that. because for dad's in China in this era he is pretty foward thinking honestly
As a father, Qiao Dongliang could only show his concern for Qiao Nan, he could not possibly ask her about her first period. But from his observation of her daily life, he was sure that till now Qiao Nan had yet to ask for sanitary products from Ding Jiayi.

I hate it when tough women are slightly mocked! boy she has to bleed blood once a month, even on missions! lady soldiers are tougher then any man soldier!
"Come on, I am not discharging from the army. it was just a simple remark, can't I complain for a bit?" Zhai Sheng rolled his eyes. Children of the Zhai family were born to lead a soldier's life, though she was a lady, the love for army life was in her blood, she could never change her personality in this life. "By the way Zhai Sheng, where have you been just now? You weren't at home when I came back?"

again I say the mum has mental issues. what we know of her childhood should have at least given her complex ptsd. I don't want sympathy for her, but a culture were it is recognised and treated . it doesn't help her in anyway to be like this either ;3 enjoying the bits of the story that relate to China's one child policy and a personal look at how it would have affected families. I don't doubt this story- second child born in hopes of a pain but it's a daughter so she is persecuted- has played out in real life
Ding Jiayi who had come back to her senses were shocked at the thought that crossed her mind just now. Why would she have such terrifying and horrible thoughts?

tbh I'm a western woman, and I think raising children should be seen as a fulltime job when they are little. too many kids in western countries are left alone or to cares all their lives as both parents are working. But the idea that having kids means you deserve to do nothing for the rest of your life is absolutely wrong. once kids turn like 10 or so, depending on emotional development, they don't need much actually physically day to day looking after. both parents should work and equally take care of household duties. I love me a man who can cook, although I can I'm often so hungry after work I prefer takeaway because cooking is a challenge for me. cleaning, easy no problem, my ideal partner is Some one where our chore preference lines up :P
Qiao Dongliang was a little machismo, if not for Ding Jiayi's spendthrift ways, he would not want to let Ding Jiayi work outside. It would be good enough if she stayed at home and managed the domestic affairs properly.

Honestly feel sorry for the dad. we can all get on board hating him for being blind, but that ignore human nature. he's married to her, probably does love in a way and his eldest daughter.. to decide they are in the wrong and be against then is just not something normal humans can't see..and the wife and daughter are manipulative enough he'd be questioning himself every day. in a way it's better then a dad who firmly takes one side because that means they can take the wrong side and just roll with it. This dad is probably the best realistic emotional state of any dad in this situation I've seen so far!
"Zijin copied from Nan Nan, do you think Zijin is right? If Zijin is capable, why didn't she write it herself, why does she have to copy? Nan Nan was being labeled as lazy for using her own essay, what about Zijin who copied Nan Nan's essay?" Qiao Dongliang was confused, he couldn't think.
Urban · Scarlet Phoenix
God men have it EASSYYYY
"There's nothing wrong with it. Wasn't it the same for other people?" Qiao Dongliang laughed in anger. In his department there were a lot of his female colleagues who had to work and take care of their children.

I find it very wierd when kids apparently have loves. I don't believe it. I think it's just best friends, but because it's the opposite gender everyone thinks it's love when they get older. Also we all meet so many other kids when young, the idea one kid would make such an impact is pretty rare when it was for that short a time
