She left him the house and a few million dollars. Rose had to take so many shifts and sleepless nights as a surgeon while at the same time trying to make time for him, which must have been hard for her. He was not emotionless like 47 in his early life; he just felt too little; he felt disconnected with his emotions even before his awakening, but it was never like that when it came to his mother, who was the only one who ever got to see his different and emotional side. He couldn't help but wonder if all the money his mother made was earned in legitimate ways or if she was involved in some illegal activities that got her killed, but that possibility is very low, not because he believes too much in his mother (which he does), but because her nature makes it hard for her to try and make money illegally, let alone leave it for her son, and she had a stable job with a good pay.
