I usually don't write reviews until after I've completed a book, but I am doing this anyway. I first wanted to review at the end of the last free chapter but even at the halfway mark, which is where I am now, my comments are about the same. Negatives.. This story is overly wordy & straight up repetitive. For the plot to have only come so far at this point & yet take up so many chapter is well a drag. The pace is too slow, & it's not even a slow-burn romance. It also doesn't feel real. I'm not saying a situation like this couldn't happen; I'm saying the writing isn't drawing me in. It's brimming full of emotional phrases, but every character is one-sided, & when they try to be complex they contradict themselves, especially the FL. The single chapters don't always flow as cohesive story. Their relationship is founded on toxic gaslighting & abuse. When the author skips throught half the year there's so much "dreaming" I wasn't sure that's what was happening. Overall there's just too much mush & unnecessary violence. Positives.. The world sounds beautiful. perhaps this is simply not my writing style.

I've been good! how are you? I've kept your book in my library 😁 I watched it shrink & now it's blooming! That's so great! I've been waiting to do a reread but I've gotta pace myself 😉 so I figure I'll do a broad chapter at a time.. I'll shoot for everyday but life's a bit more.. I am so excited tho! it looks amazing! oh I could drag on & on at the end of each chapter 😏 but I figured unless something really hits that makes me "just gotta share" I'll just post my feelings at the end with emojis 🙃
