Not true. Idk what makes you think that, but regardless of when this GOD decided to do this, it’s going to be the middle of the night somewhere. There ARE going to be at least a billion people sleeping at that time regardless of your delusions. Also there are plenty of people just like the MC, who hate Christmas and everything it stands for. Or depressed people, or sick people, or injured people, or people that were working a couple hours prior, and have now fallen asleep. So the answer to your doubt is yes, yes you should have come up with a better explanation.

Other creatures cannot steal a kill from humans. This was established In the First God Sanctuary when he was fighting that rolly polly creature and the Super Vulture finished it off. There have been differences between the levels, but this doesn’t seem like it should be one.

No, he is its mother, while a similar role as servant. The fox sees Han Sen as a protector, so probably doesnt realize that he can help Han Sen yet.
He thought that if he was injured by the twin spirits, the silver fox would be enraged enough to leap into the fray and protect its master. But all it did was stay perched on Han Sen's shoulder, not moving an inch.
