Not sure why he would need a Digimon as they're primarily used as an AI assistant or hacking tool which Cortana probably already has in spades. I say save that for a future fic

If we are talking peak of their species, a viltrum would win because they have too much battle experience from their version of immortality, whereas what I know so far with tetramand is that they can be compared to MCU Hulk feel free to correct me on this.

Yeah, this chapter came out from left field as they would say. Sure Ben needs to learn these lessons but I don't think it should come from Allister himself as he is acting as his best friend/rival. It should come from someone with more experience like his grandpa or veteran heroes. Usually I would say take it slow and he can learn from other people or his own mistakes but Ben is already a fully developed character with a path so it's a waste to spend too much time on him when we can be focusing on the MC's own character growth and problems.

If they go back to the dead end and realize they went back in time, I'm pretty sure the gang won't want to go back aside from falco as they no longer have any real connections to the cyberpunk world.
