The Thundercats was a very popular cartoon at the same time as He-Man. And like He-Man It has had a bunch of different versions. What is consistant between all of them is the main weopen of the main caracter 'The sword of Omens' has a spectial ability wehere It lets the user see things they usualy could not. To activate It the main character would chant "grant me sight beyond sight" And yes that was the first thing I thought you were refrencing with that too.
My sight beyond sight and the Void's Blink gave me a perfect overview of the battlefield as I stood atop the command tower, each and every enemy move presented to me in a perfectly organized information packet ready for consumption by my ravenous mind.
