Kentucky slowed down as he approached, and the construction shape made itself clear. It was an octahedron, an enormous one. Even though they could see it from their position, they were still a considerable distance away. You might also call it a bipyramid, essentially two pyramids with four sides that are glued together at their base. Of course, that was just how it looked, not that it was really the case.
