Seeing as Izuku has a swirl of emotions and is going to be plagued by them, why not give him a quirk where his emotions give him increasing strength, but the side effect is that it puts a heavy strain on his body. The strain would put his body into a near constant state of pain, the pain would also encourage him to work harder. The feeling of rage would give him an even greater feat of strength, however, the pain would double, the pain can also act as fuel for his rage, increasing it ever more.
