I don't know about the book, I haven't read it
But I'm thinking of creating something like a battery of magic stones. instead of using my mani i use the thana taken from the battery and so it will be much less mani and when the battery runs low just have to wait for it to collect mana from the environment to be full again.

So the quirk is related to genetics and DNA and the type can be passed on to descendants. But he got it in a different way and you can say that this is not Overhaul, but I like to read it like that and honestly I didn’t figure out how the main character got it, so I left it like that.
But I have an Overhaul and I can quite easily merge a metal or a jewel with magic, making it one and it will turn into a magic metal. With such thoughts, I set to work and with a few attempts I succeeded, I made magic iron, but there was a problem all that I made low-grade, they have very little mana and no kohen differ from regular iron. It takes a lot of mana to make a good magic metal, and right now I don't have that much.
