Well for one the access to the faction skills is a pretty good incentive, even if it may not seem like it at first glance. That faction body passive boost gets applied to himself as well, so heās getting another 30% boost to his body stats, not to mention if a member joins who has a remarkably high vitality, like grade 3 vitality, they would be the go-to vital transfer damage sponge, which Jake could then make use of. As others have said, since later on factions will be important in the ordeals, you could see it as a form of investment. Plus without his friends at the final fight against Nylreg, he most likely would not have been able to stall long enough for Sigmar to get there, so theyāve already helped him earn extra ordeal credits. Not really sure why youāre so confident in this. From my understanding the skills donāt make changes in perception they change facts. He BECOMES 2 ranks higher for the duration (with all the perks of those ranks), and he is perfectly Hidden from the Predictions of Players who rank 2 levels higher than when he activates the skill. Effectively making him immune to the OPness that is the Prediction function of people 4 ranks higher than his actual rank. But who knows, we both might be wrong, we donāt have anything concrete yet.
All of these skills were incredibly useful, but these three were the ones that would benefit him at all times and were still affordable to activate. Once the decision was made, the Ancient Designer set to work and his Spirit Body wrapped him up, making him feel like he was trapped in a huge crystal of light.

The way i see it, heās essentially effortlessly manipulating his spirituality to make a perfect reflection of himself, as if he were looking into a mirror, and combined with his improved coordination, he can accurately control his facial expressions and see what face he actually makes.
