I loved this chapter. Haruki clearly stating what he didn't like about the situation was new and unexpected. I was pleasantly surprised. Normally characters go and real people go along with stuff that makes them uncomfortable because they like the person. Haruki standing up for himself and putting an end to that particular encounter was smart and admirable.
