When Arthur heard that he could get anything he wanted, he at once thought of taking Cannibal and Dreamfyre. He knew Cannibal was a wild dragon who could not be tamed. There was a rumor that Cannibal existed even before the Targaryens came. Some said that Cannibal hated Targaryen dragons. He also knew that Dreamfyre was a she-dragon who had bonded with Rhaena Targaryen back in 32 AC. Arthur mainly wanted that dragon so that he could have dragon eggs for his own house.

Hearing him, Viserys and Grandmaester Runciter was flabbergasted because they discussed that in secret. They were already preparing to cut the Queen's Belly to save the baby. If Arthur hadn't came and created troubles, they would have done it already. On the other hand, Rhaenyra had a disgusting expression on her face. She couldn't believe her father would have done that but she had trust in Arthur. She started trusting Arthur much because she knew he is pushing himself so much to save the Queen. She didn't knew the reason as why he is doing that but deep down she knew that Arthur could be trusted. The Queen was already unconscious.

All kinds of cheer were heard from the crowd. Even the Targaryens started clapping their hands. Meanwhile, Lord Corlys already hired some men to start chanting Arthur's name with stating Valyria together. The public started doing the chant after some people started chanting that. Soon, the whole venue started shaking due to the chants of the crowds. Lord Otto thought that King Viserys would be angry because his people became a fan of another valyrian who could potentially destroy his kingdom. Instead, King Viserys became happy that he found his kin after a long time. He already thought to summon Arthur and make him a knight while telling him to protect Rhaenyra who would become his wife when she comes of marriageable age. While all these was happening, Rhaenyra never once took back her eyes from the figure of Arthur. When her best friend Alicent was praising Arthur, she became jealous of it and told her to not disturb her when she is busy. Alicent hearing that started chuckling while hiding her own respect and blush. Unexpectedly, she too fell in love seeing Arthur. She was filled with respect and awe when she saw his courage. He was only 1 year older than her yet he fought so dilligently. She had a crush on him so hard that she even forgot to pick her fingers and nails which she usually does until it draws blood. Apparently, she has a skin picking disorder which starts when she is nervous and sees blood .But when seeing Arthur jousting so courageously. But she could hide her feelings unlike a certain gold-silver haired princess who was not even taking her eyes off him. Meanwhile, Laena Velaryon was staring at Arthur with an absent looking eyes. She didn't knew why she couldn't take her eyes off him. While her brother Laenor Velaryon was also looking intently at Arthur. He might be looking at Arthur because he wants to be taught by him in fighting. He wanted to ask him about how to be a knight.

The reactions didn't feel real to me, and the crying scene is just meh and feels forced. I know its a fanfic but the corpse-raping thing never happened and feels forced to the scene just to evoke an emotion from the readers. You already know how everybody reacted to her death.

I almost lost her and it would have been by my own doing, it was not even a Baelon but instead a Visenya.
