I can understand why Berengar thinks democracy has failed but the problem is that he is using the US as an example. If you do your research the US is a flawed democracy and is not the best example of what democracy could be if you look at the Nordic countries who are true democracies. It is a successful system of government it only needs the right conditions and people in charge for it to succeed.
