@all I’ve read until chapter 134, I will update this review as necessary Have been reading on webnovel for now around two years and this is the first time I feel like writing a review, as I want to encourage the author to keep up with their quality of work and regular release schedule. So here we go, I’ll try to keep it short, though it will probably be a bit chaotic as it’s my first review and on a phone ;D: The novel is a refreshing take on several common genres on webnovel (system, kingdom building, transmigration, fantasy, romance), while being a bit more mature than other popular original light novels on webnovel. I’ve split my review into several topics: System What I like a lot is that the progress is shown every time his stats appear and not just the updated number. Additionally, that the system makes sense given how magic works in the world our MC got transmigrated too, is refreshing considering other lots of other novels. Character Development Top notch, the changes to the MC after finding himself in such a cruel world are apparent and the side characters are also developed with care and detail. Kingdom Building, World Building, Adventure I’ve decided to turn these three categories into one, as they are closely intertwined. The fact that the MC is new to this world, is excellently used by the author to build a vivid world full of Magic, Kingdoms and all kinds of mythical creatures. The kingdom building needs special mentions, because the author has given it a nice twist and turned it into “competitive kingdom building”. By this I mean that (almost) everybody is able to build a kingdom and summon people from other worlds to help his cause. All in all, read to find out more, but for me it’s one of the best things of the novel. Romance Just great as well, it is slowly but steadily developing and not a “from one minute to the next I am in love thing”. It is a harem (probably, as so far there are no official lovers) with all female friends/co-leads having great and detailed character developments. I am e.g. especially looking forward to the (potential)romance between Anaphiel and Ikaris (our mc). It is, even as a harem fan, also super nice, that there is some character development outside of his potential harem circle as well (consider Asselin). Gore/Sex (generally R18) It starts with with explicit gore (which context wise makes sense), but then as soon as they leave the village tones down a lot on the amount and explicity, so if you can’t handle explicit gore, just push through, it’s worth it. So far there have been no sex scenes as the romance develops slowly, but solidly. However, I expect some in the future and by the nature of the book up to date also explicit ones, which I will honestly admit I also look forward too ;D. All in all, this is one of the if not the best novel on webnovel so far and I encourage everyone to try it. If you can’t handle explicit gore (even if it makes sense), just push through the first chapters, it’s worth it. @author stay healthy and happy, I look forward to what will happen to ikaris, his friends and kingdom
