But after eating she felt sicker for some odd reason. Her body became slow, her eyelids felt heavy and her head throbbed in pain. She remained seated on the kitchen floor for a while but the cold from the floor made her shiver. Getting up she decided to go back to the warmth of the bedsheets. She wobbled her way through the hall unable to focus on where she was headed.

So don’t hate me, but I feel like the only reason we’re rooting for Rayven is because we’ve read from his POV and see that he’s a sad and tormented soul. Not just the jerk he would seem to be without it. We haven’t had that opportunity with Skender, which makes me wonder who we’d root for if we had.

Skender is a Defender! He must be a part of that group…or at least he was.
He sighed. "Demons abused their powers too much. Meanwhile, different groups of demons were rising that wanted to stop this abuse. Only one of these groups succeeded. The ones who consisted of Archdemons and that is how they come to rule to keep order. They all have different roles and the punishers take care of punishments."
