Great chapter, although it makes me angry that the Adeptus treat him like any other monster despite him having intelligence and emotions like any human being, or that Cloud wants to use him for something. I feel it's better that they are like this; it makes clear the fact that they are not human and therefore do not think or have human morality.
I know the next chapter is probably already written, and you have everything planned, but you could make Ren offended or angry with Cloud for letting him fight Shenrhe, thinking it was a fight to the death. I mean, he could have prevented the fight that broke Ren's bones and left him unconscious, but he didn't. At the very least, he has to be angry, and he should tell him to his face. With Ganyu there, nothing bad is going to happen to him. But if not, it doesn't matter, very good chapter and story, the first one I've seen that mixes things from 2 universes so well.
Does it exist within the Brockton Bay series? Because I don't remember it being mentioned anywhere. That's what I mean. If Skyrim isn't mentioned in the series, the author is free to decide whether he wants Skyrim to exist as a game within Brockton Bay or not.
