If you had total co trol over everything in existence, would you want to spend your time micromanaging the death of every living creature that has, does, or will ever exist? Why not just make a group that does it for you? If they screw up too often, re-hire

Why is the thought of a more bureaucratic afterlife not an interesting concept. Yeah, this is one of the most important days of your life, you died, but dozens of people die every minute. An organized system that cares little to none about the individuals it exists to process is basically the hallmark of any large governing body, mortal or immortal. The only big difference I can think of off the top of my head is that management changes a lot less often for immortals.
