titanoboa is actually a boa species, not a python. (go figure) more specifically, it was a species of anaconda. semi aquatic, not arboreal.
A python, one extinct for ages, hung high in the trees. Its 12 meter long body looped again and again, carrying such mass that it looked to be a miracle that the tree could hold it up at all.

They were partially complete rings, almost as though someone had cut a small piece of them. In that missing portion, there was the hovering piece of a weapon. It was a gorgeous piece of craftsmanship that only seemed stronger in this form.
