Awwwww. The demons are cute.
Not that these demons are likely to submit. I don't know what it is that their 'god' is doing to them, but they have gone completely loco. The intelligent, obsession-focused monsters are gone, replaced by these slavering hounds, desperate to enact his will. It's depressing if I'm honest. The demons might be a bit nuts most of the time, but I like them. They're weird.

Raaz was still on cloud nine, so he didn't make any question about the oddly big sizes Lith had requested. He could have easily made it much thinner and shorter, making it easier to carry around. But Lith refused the proposal, begging his father to fulfill his wish.

It was weathered and narrow, barely enough for two people to walk side by side. The path wasn't paved, but rather cut from the black rock by some unknown tool or magic, winding its way up the mountain like a tail of a sleeping dragon. Here and there, it was hidden beneath the snow. But most importantly, it was flat. Sunny had never been that happy to see something flat in his life.

By the evening of the second day they returned to the nest in triumph! Both of them settled in to evolve to the fourth tier where they would begin their lives as egg producing Queens of the colony. There was quite a lot of energy amongst the nest at that, I have to say. A great deal of excitement and anticipation. It felt as if the very first Formica Sapiens colony had reached a major milestone of producing our first home grown egg laying Queens.

We all know this feeling all to well. When your life turned upside down so quickly that your only response is to acclimate quickly. To fundamentally change as a person even before you fully matured. And if you haven't felt that yet. Be happy that you have a good life. Be grateful. Someone always has it worse than you.
