These are my opinions as an American woman who doesn’t fully understand the author’s culture. Okay, look, I do think this story is good at times. The plot is dramatic, the characters can be engaging, and the corporate aspect is entertaining. That being said, the “Taming of the Shrew” vibe leads to some problematic and possibly triggering chapters in which the ML’s physical persistence AGAINST the FL’s consent comes across as blatant sexual harassment. There’s gaslighting, confinement, and serious consent issues. Now, with all THAT said, I do like this novel in general. Does it portray the development of a healthy relationship? Not at all. Is it entertaining with a strong and (arguably) smart female lead? Yeah.

Interesting story, I like it so far and can’t wait for more chapters. The speech layout is not my favorite, but I muddle through well enough.

I truly enjoy the way the author has developed this story. The main character is likeable, special without being overpowered. They introduce an interesting premise and flesh it out with realistic information. Likewise, the secondary characters are all interesting and individual; everything is wuite well realized. I would honestly enjoy seeing this dramatized, and hope the creator is offered a tv show in the future.
