He's agile and nimble, but his constitution is quite lacking, at this point I think I have mentioned it a couple of times but he's rather skinny and when it comes to brute strength he's... average, I guess. He's also got some bad habits, growing up as a thief didn't help one bit, getting into street brawls and that sort of stuff taught him 'how to fight' in the sense he has fighting experience, but... When it comes to his form, technique and fighting in a way that isn't just some improvised, instinct-driven mess, he's not that good.

I have a real problem with such main characters, unless specifically made to be some sort of hyper genius.Aizen should, for all intends and purposes, fool everyone, anything else and I feel like his character is being severely undermined.

You don't understand how long it took me to write this scene, I'm not exaggerating when I say I must have completely rewritten it almost a dozen times.I planted the seeds for several things here, and many of them will be key later in the story.Urahara and Hideki's relationship, for one, is going to be an interesting one to manage.There was a hint about Urahara already planning on creating the R&D Department, but lacking the resources/power to do so.There was also a hint about a hollow who could, even if somewhat poorly, completely mask it's spiritual pressure (connection to one of Aizen's experiments he does later on in Bleach, the one in Renji's academy days flashback)And lastly, there was another hint about a hollow targeting specifically soul reapers for some mysterious reason (connection to experiments shown in Everything But The Rain by Aizen and the others)I tried to pack this scene full of things that will come up as plot points later on, so hopefully you enjoyed it.
