I'm 14. I was always harshly treated by my older cousins when I was younger. I used to cry at first but then I realized that nothing was going to change so since I turned 10, I learned to control, hide and fake my emotions. Whenever they teased me, I used to bite back my emotions and stop the tears from entering my eyes and instead laugh at their cruel jokes. Today was a hard day for me and I cried hard in front of my mother after what seemed like an eternity as, like Ravyen, I also used to swallow my emotions and today was the final push to me to make it all tumble down and I am extremely depressed today after reading about Angelica in this chapter and William in the next one.
He looked at her with a frown, "Angelica. If you want to yell then yell. Be angry if you want, cry if you want but don't do this. I know what it is like to bury your feelings. They will suffocate you at the end." He reached for her and stroked her hair. "You don't always have to be so… mature."

After reading the prologue and the rest of the story, my first thought was also the shades. I never would have thought the current circumstances.

No. I like your sense of humour. Thanks to the both of you. I tell my best friend everything and a week ago I said to her that it's strange that strangers are always there for you and the ones you love and trust always hurt you in the worst way. P.S: I've done that already. It was quite satisfying and even if I got scolded in the worst way after that, it was totally worth it.
