Somehow I highly doubt that

In this chapter she reads now, it talks about the battle in which Genesis Lotus put an end to the disdain people had for the early Wood Path, which before Genesis Lotus was considered a flawed path since it could easily be suppressed and destroyed by the Fire Path, one of the oldest paths in the Gu world, just as there were no high-level attack methods for Wood path.

Plain and simple, anyone who has read the novel in its entirety knows that this path should have been created by Giant Sun using a clone called Blood Sea Ancestor years after Giant Sun's death, but there is also the possibility that she has read the novel but just hasn't reached this point, as many people who start reading such a large novel stop halfway.

Is this guy a variant human? Considering Otherworldly Demons usually don't have any prejudice against the variant human races and TH was also friendly towards the featherman race, they stand a lot to gain by befriending a future Otherworldly Demon Venerable when he's weak. So there is a good chance he could be one.
