Ahh I know, it's what makes writing so fun since if you are inspired by multiple things and have a good nack for writing plots and how to guide them-- you come up with some pretty nice things.

Nope completely different creatures actually, a dragon is with 4 limbs and wings- a wyvern is with two legs and wings, drakes has no wings but 4 limbs. Its quite interesting; there are 10 names for things that look like these creatures but different body parts.

If serious, then look at how spices cancel one another out. No flavor comes out even with all the spices and how certain ones enhance others. For example, salt enhances sweet flavors, that's why salt and caramel is popular to many. Look up flavor wheel. (I believe that's what it is called.)
All these were simple dishes that only needed a short time to prepare.
