By the way, for those who don't like clones and such, Alistair doesn't clone himself, because there's no main one to clone. It's just that he separates them using duplication. Think of him as being a cake, then he cuts that cake into three pieces. Now where's the center of the cake? With all three of them. It's just that each piece takes a part of him, just like I said in "a stranger feeling of missing something" part.
