The author is explaining things from a POV. It's human nature, the grapes are sour. As long as you don't have that thing, it's subpar - or something else might be better. But the moment you have it, you'll flex it endlessly. Even if you know you can get it X years later, until you get it you don't feel good and can't digest it so you undermine it.
Qi cultivation was the trend now, but who could say that body cultivation could not make one stronger?

It would probably be tier based. I.e. you can only reach 1 stat point across all stats at the first level of the system. Once reached, the system/ user will have the option to level up and unlock a new threshold. Kind of a game mechanic. Could be mission based or just a system shutdown and update, depends how author sama chooses.
After maxing out his intelligence, Aur decided to focus on increasing his blood and Qi. However, it remained the smallest stats in his profile.

I'm going to stare this journey. *Staring Intensifies*
"Sam let store these in my spatial ring, it will save some space inside the carriage." Sam nodded and Philip made the bag disappear. All of them boarded the carriage while Marvin took the reigns to drive the carriage. Sam previously let Yanwu command the Bulls to hear every command of Marvin and others. So, they stared their journey. Sam wanted to meet with Michael before leaving, but he was not home. So, he just left a note and left the city. After sometime the carriage left the village through the only gate that connected the village to the cities. As they left the village, a guard immediately hurried over to the village head mansion and informed their departure to the Village head. Village head smirked.

Not necessarily, vampires are a deviant species of humans. If you look at "bloodline" powers in manhua, you only improve your "bloodline/ genes" by absorbing others of same or similar attributes. At least to start off with, as their body isn't strong enough to take genes/ powers from other species just yet - hence why MC's are close to death, gain abnormal physical traits or change species in the cases that they do this. Usually the evolution is to a "Prime Human"/ Perfected Human before you explore evolution beyond. Assuming something similar for vampires, however as he is the first, there is no reference. Trolls are too far from humans, maybe elves or something else might have worked.
Did it have to be the blood of a knight?
