Purely objectively you are correct but the problem is that from the readers perspective the moment he sees allot of enemies he runs away. And you may tell us he knows he can't win but that power he rarely truly conveyed to the reader. you should try to help your reader see the enemies strength some before he has to run so its not on sight all the time.

So much running away.... either give him stuff he can fight or stop focusing on violent encounters. the book is boring if all he does is run from or decimate his enemies and being over powered is better than being a coward

yeah like most insects have smaller wing to weight ration than birds but are much more maneuverable while Birds have a larger Wing to weight ratio and tend to be faster but can't turn as well in most cases there are always exceptions though
