Maybe they weren’t throwing axes. Also I bet they weigh more then the spears or long darts he’s about to be using. Meaning they would slow him down.
Leonel abandoned his hand axes, using the belt he had stolen from a Spaniard to slip in a few atlatl's. Considering they were reusable, it was unnecessary to have more than one. However, Leonel had learned to plan for the unexpected.

Even then you think an advanced civilization who doesn’t even use paper anymore knows about those little powder bags? Most don’t even know about paper!? You want him to load a musket when the only guns he’s ever seen reload by themselves and shot lasers 😂😂😂
After yet another deep breath, Leonel took his musket straps off, tossing them to the side. They were no longer useful since he had no idea how to reload them. He would rather not have gun powder blow his arm off.

Did he swing full force into the rock? He lifted his arm. If we being literal then yes it shouldn’t be possible for him to lift the rod fully or it would go through the ceiling. However there is a big difference between him lifting his arm to prepare for an attack and one using full strength to slam a sharp metal stick we call a sword directly into a rock wall. The first one would only make a couple sounds and make you feel a slight vibration. The other one is the same as slamming your hand directly against the rock without even clenching your fist correctly.
With a roar, Leonel didn't retreat at all. Raising his rod far above his head, he swung down as hard as he could, bashing it against the head of the Spaniard who had held the torch originally.

I don’t know, maybe the fact that he woke up being able to see the colors of the wind? Lol if he is putting out torches I’m sure he’s looked into the darkness and realized that he can actually see and stuff really well in the dark 😂

Are you stupid? You know that a majority of the world is flying on metal disks right? These metal discs are literally falling out of the sky and only select few metal discs even have proper protection from falling out of the sky. Now all of them are falling one after another from the highest and lowest points. The people on those discs are going through earthquakes that we can’t even begin to comprehend especially since all the building most likely collapsed on top of them at the same time. People are dying quicker then you can take a breath and all you need to do to see it is look at the discs hitting the ground.
Whatever catastrophe the Ascension Empire warned of had yet to even begin, yet billions had already died. What kind of sick joke was this?
