That doesn't make any sense you are an unknown, Uther kills people for far less, he would never let a stranger into the castle let alone near Morgana, magic is forbidden in Camelot, times are troubled, Caius has become very wise through his long experience with Uther and magic. the way you present your characters is strange logic and rationality do not count here I recommend a rewrite, take a look again at the Series might help I know that this is a fan fic, but you have to build some logic and reason behind it otherwise your story does not make the slightest sense There is not much to see here

You're trying to bring logic in here but that's not in it your and every other fan fic has little real logic in it, it's like the name says a fan fic you could have your mc do whatever you want, I think this is about the benefits you wished for but didn't take advantage of that's why he's questioning it because you left them unused, that's why he seems unhappy, i would change it a little bit but like i said it's your fan fic I still do not find it bad everyone has his own taste

Never thought I would give 5 stars but I am satisfied that the MC is not just a ridiculous side character but helps to address the problems and still leaves Merlin enough room to grow, I think it is very well done, the end of the original series was very unsatisfactory, this is a good opportunity to set things right, even the updates are fine for me as long as there is always more to come of course.

I find it a real pity the storry with a mc who chooses Alice is something I have been looking for a long time, unfortunately plot is underdeveloped and rushed, your MC is boring and also very badly written there is very little world building and background, the family of your mc is better written and more interesting than your own mc why ? Your MC fills up like a cardboard character it doesn't really feel alive but more like something that is just there, I recommend you to read this I Reincarnated In Twilight is not perfect either but it shows well how to do it. This is not meant as an insult, it is just my opinion, and everyone has their own opinion, the story has real potential I would like to see a rewrite to evaluate it better ,
