Warlocks used Fel and Shadow Magic. The majority of Warlocks were former Shamans or Mages and still possessed the knowledge and Magic of their previous Class.

Sylvanas is just fine, being dead doesn't necesarrily mean you lose all your senses (tactile, taste buds, etc.). You can travel the whole Azeroth , since you're pretty much immortal. Heck, you can even go steal frostmourne and do a arthas 2.0 but smarter. Ah, and infinite power growth. Not to mention the fact that having a cheat , may loosen the restrictions.
