I'm holding out hope for this story but I feel like this chapter may have just ruined the story. Like we were basically just told that we have missed here entire character development. Isn't the purpose of the story to watch the character grow? Again I still hold out hope for this story but this is kinda a letdown as the childish personality was one of the main draws of this and it is apparently gone without any warning.

you could totally be on to something there. That would be an amazing twist.
Annalise shuddered. She couldn't understand how any parent would allow their children to come to harm.

Gosh darn the all-powerful enemy know as SLEEP!
As he thought hard, his mind slowly drifted, the sleepiness working against his body. Curses. Alec 0, Sleep 914… he would remember this.

no, let him believe he's in control for a little while longer.
The greatest proof about this was the gentle hum of his mother whenever she cradled him close. Though he had no description for it yet, it was almost like whatever was inside her sang to himself, giving him a soft, comforting feeling that he couldn't help but adore.

That was intense! What a way to define a character! I'm looking forward to seeing the development of this character. Side note: what a wonderful revenge.

that sounds like bs to me. what if the smiling lion had instigated his brother's death, pinned it on Elisabeth, erased his memories of her to make it believable, then when the black organization became a threat they moved the blame to them. I don't know that's just my prediction. I don't trust smiling lions they're always hiding their murderous intent.

You cant know that. for all you know a single good slash from a sword does 2,000 damage.
Unfortunately, all the methods and scenarios that came to her mind would only lead to tragedy. It was mission impossible for her to inflict 810 damage on the tiger given their huge level difference.

I want this
"Thankfully, I got my plant friends to bring me fresh meat," said Ervas, finishing his fourth Horned Rabbit for breakfast… despite his small body, he was capable of eating more than his own weight, this was due to his incredibly advanced metabolism, which almost instantly converted food into energy for his body.

Or, perhaps all babies are full conscious in the womb but as they grow they slowly merge with their new body and slowly loose their old memories only inheriting small amounts of the 'old soul' and going to formulate a 'new soul'.
Then again, it didn't make sense for if being reborn endlessly was the thing, wouldn't more people be aware of it? Or was this awareness of hers a fluke? A mistake? Kylie just got a headache thinking of it. There was no way for her finding out the truth, so there was no point in thinking about it any further. Was there any point to all of that anyway?

I thought he didn’t know about medicine. If so then how did he go from inept to master in 5 days, enough so to discover potentially one of the most dangerous poisons is a world like this, one effective against any mage and more effective with more powerful mages by the looks of it! And I get he’s a genius but there are limits, and learning an entire profession in 5 days far exceeds them. And to his point, if one could discover this poison so easily that a novice could prefect it in 5 days then it is absurd that nobody had discovered it before, expecially given his explanation of how he discovered likely meaning that the creators of the remedy where aware of its effects ( using a poison to combat another poison (one would then know that there using a poison no?))
