Anyone else thinking it would be really cool if June's movie fails? I have nothing against June, but it could be a great plotwist and also help establish that not everyone can become a star director/ movie studio owner just because they try hard (because just reading about Will, his accomplishment does not look as great since we don't have any fails to compare with). It was said that many talented students and directors tried to emulate the 'camcorder horror' and June's idea isn't anything super original or interesting and neither has she studied movie-making for long, so it would actually make more sense for her to fail. I know that would pretty much cement the idea that June = negative, but we've already established that June = plot stalling, so... this could at least make me interested in what's going on around her? I was against yeeting June the last time we were asked but now I'm changing my mind. It would be great for the story if they broke up because she cannot take the imbalance in the relationship anymore as much as she loves him. None of us want to see Will fail professionally (at least I don't, it's wish fulfillment after all) but something not working out and being out of his control to fix would spice things up and make his plot armor less obvious. I would love to see June successful years down the line, but I'd much prefer it if they both found a better match (with longer development before getting into a relationship). At this point, I am more inclined to ship him with Alexia than June, even tho we've seen a lot less of the former, because her character seems to have more depths to explore.

Definitely recommended ❤! I've read this on its previous site, so I am well ahead of what is posted here, and it's without a doubt a story worth following. I was starting to worry that it was discontinued, but I thankfully stumbled upon it here 😅. The setting and plot have a lot of originality - there are a few tropes but they are presented with a unique twist. The magic system is best described as a hybrid between runes and summoning, and generally well explained. The writing flows very naturally and I like that the author does not explicitly spell everything out (I am talking about mostly the feelings and intentions of the characters). Most characters are well fleshed out and not everything revolves solely around the main cast and their issues (although they are very much involved, I'd say they are not the main targets of what's going on). As for the main leads, they are both quite relatable. Both of them have a tragic backstory, which does a lot for their personalities. Perhaps thanks to that, they have a great power balance in their relationship, although it initially doesn't seem so. It also means that they both have a bit of a mean streak at times (but even then, their actions are not completely unreasonable). Although Lucius can sometimes come off as a rather typical cold and detached strong ML, he has his reasons and he visibly cares about many people other than the FL (although he'd rather not admit to that). Aurora also lets go of her 'transmigrated FL' ideas of leaving Lucius once their contract is fulfilled early enough not to be annoying. I dare say Aurora is the more independent of the two, but I'd attribute it more to the difference in their personalities and experiences, because her affection for Lucius does not seem any weaker to me.

Of course. Modesty is my second name.

"Either way you're a lying ass! You should've told me when we got married! I never wanted a man like the Reyes Heir. I always wanted to achieve everything on my own. I'm not going back to the villa with you!" Adrianna stomped away.

Well, she did overhear he's rich... 😏

Song Ning's fingers gently rubbed the red cover of the marriage certificate, lost in her thoughts. 'Mom, I got married on the day you chose for me. Fu Le doesn't want me, but it doesn't matter. I'll fight for my own happiness. I don't need a man to be happy! Mom, if you're watching from the heavens, please watch over me…'

Right. But it's soo sad.

Up here, at least for now, I am safe from all that in my mother's arms. Even if she's an unreliable woman that will abandon me given the chance, the choice, for now, it is alright. For now, this warmth that radiates off her body is still in my grasp. The violence and power of her position are also mine to use.

Another older sibling worried about the younger's brains?~ This guy and Rosa might really hit it off

"Dad, no! His brains???" cries the older brother jumping in too late to cradle that cranium of delicate cargo.

But does it matter if they know him as a Lucas or a Claus? None of them have any background in this world, so it doesn't really make a difference.

For real tho, most action films gloss over the technicalities so there's not much to pick on. Or they go so far beyond reality that it's pretty much an alternate universe and there's no point in commenting on it.

Yup, it is. If it makes sense you enjoy the film, if it's no good you get to enjoy my comments. It's a win either way.

Quite honestly? I don't really like the idea of beating them up for betraying him. Rather... why bother with them? Beating them up is potential trouble, nothing gained and wasted effort. The only good thing it gives him is a sick sense of satisfaction... is that even a good thing? Killing them now does make sense. They actually tried to kill him and it's imperial that he finds out who employed them lest they get him first. And he doesn't want to let those idiots live so they can also plot against him, so that part I can agree with. But it's still a bit disappointing that he doesn't even hesitate or weight other options when deciding whether he should commit murder. Yes, they are scum. But he was so disgusted that they would take up a mission to kill someone and now he's like 'Murder? No probs.' And we get another run-of-the-mill sociopath mc.
