The ground continued to shake and just before it all stopped, I saw the king pushing his son aside just before a bright flash came from the orb.

this whole chapter was so...ACE..

Custard maneuvered his body so that his back legs were facing the ground as they fell. Then, he extended his claws and grabbed the walls to ease up their fall. When they were closer to the ground, Custard jumped and began running at full speed.
