nope its important to just do what is comfortable for you and what works best for you, personally I use them and sometimes I don't it doesn't really matter to me but I do think it works better (for me at least) to use them

nope, the script itself is not necessary but it helps personally with organizing my thoughts and having something to go back to and it's fun in general to do and it feels like you are interacting with your dr in a way.

your clone is your subconscious, which is why you are the same after you shift since your consciousness is shifting
your clone acts like you, although you can script for it to finish the incompleted assignments. That way, when you come back, you are not stressed
