you mean, besides it being superfluous with observation haki, being limited to the three star since there wouldn't be another pair of eyes to transfer when the mangyeko decides to turn off the lights (unless a *different* reward gives the eternal, but that's just wasting two rewards on a single power), the fact that chakra isn't a thing in one piece, meaning the greatest strength of the sharingan, the ability to instantly copy any jutsu you see, is cut into a third (you might still be able to copy martial arts techniques and weapon skills, but both of those are unneeded for jackson), and it being an ability you have to have chakra to activate in the first place (lots of fanfics ignore this, but yeah, you need to run chakra through your eyes to activate the tomoe, and it can end up being most or all of your chakra if you're not careful) when one piece, again, does not have chakra? I'd say aesthetics is the main reason

yeah, going to any isolated tribe, that has a long history of being extremely insular and has no problem with other people as long as they don't invade the tribe's territory (which is almost always a tiny island or a few miles of jungle, they don't want or need much), but will also violently repel anyone who does enter, after being told by all the people who live near the tribe about how much they DON'T WANT VISITORS, only to try and proselytize, is kinda asking for what happens to you.
Hell, there was a recent case of a Christian missionary killed by an island native tribe off of India. Chad didn't see any people kicking up a fuss about that! If anything, people unanimously thought the guy was in the wrong for interfering in someone else's culture.
