Your writing style has definitely improved. The writing at the beginning of the book was a bit… scattered? Like you were writing things down when then thoughts hit your brain. There was nothing wrong with this however it made it feel like I was reading in figure eights. It was a tab confusing but an overall fun ride. Now, on the other hand, it is much more organized. Reading is easy to do and very enjoyable. I quite like the feeling of it being told from the author’s view rather than a standard third-person. I also quite enjoy the descriptions we get however sometimes it gets a bit lengthy and feels more like filler at that point, for example when describing the big villain boss behind Guo Ying. The description of everything is very nice but too much can be detrimental to the fluidity of your story. After all, too much of a good thing is no longer considered a good thing. Overall, I really enjoy this novel along with the little glossary at the end of chapters every now and then. I also like the authors’ notes that we get. I enjoy seeing the main character and his strengths yet I also find it nice reading about the weaknesses and his ability to set boundaries, which is something I envy do to my lack in such an ability. Thank you for all your hard work author, I really like this novel. Thank you for every last letter you put out. Don’t forget to take care of your health and don’t be afraid to take a break when you need it!

But, there really was nothing to be done about this. This director, Cao Meng– she was relatively new and only shot a few unrated web series beforehand. This was her first try at a rated work, that too also for a script written by an unrated script writer. And, the script was only rated as bronze-0.5 star not to say the least.

Idk about you but tbh I really liked the small Evie arc, seeing as she is probably the female lead, if you can’t stand a few chapters about her, maybe you really should leave.
