This story is becoming like the other ancient fantasy/reincarnation where the MC’s “heaven-defying” skills is being treasured by a sect so the other sects would bow down to them. And an S+ grade talisman in a modern era? If these talismans are so important that it cost a lot, then why there are still people who doesn’t believe in ghosts and zombies? With these warlocks and sects around, it seems that you can not live a normal life in this modern world. Because you may not know if you’re under a spell. Pretty hard to picture that you’re coexisting with them.

You know what, this filial piety is really being abuse. Why does Song Ling Yan keeps on obeying his father? Doesn’t he even think if his wife was comfortable in changing residence. And because of FP, the parents even has a say who their children has to marry or if they want their children to get a divorce. My thought is that the ancient chinese people established this filial piety because they’re afraid that their words wouldn’t be as important to the youngsters and to be neglected when they could no longer walk. They just want someone to take care of them.

Yep, I agree. When the author announced that he has other ongoing books, I am quite doubtful if he’ll be able to write it all together or if the story will still be good. And also the readers have different personalities. You’ll never know how the readers will feel about the story or character/s. Anyways as much as I wanted this story to have a good ending, but if not, then I’ll just add this to my lists of unfinished stories, then move to another one again.
