I don't mind time skips usually, and I really dislike when readers demand a change, but this is a case where I think a rewrite is warranted. The author has been teasing and building up to this relationship for 700 chapters. Regardless of whichever ship you wanted, we need way more than this. Alice transitioning from thinking about Michael as a student and disciple to a boyfriend. Learning about his past and some secrets, and in turn sharing her own. This is where that should happen and I think most of us readers really want to see it play out in the chapters. If a rewrite isn't possible, some side or "filler" chapters maybe?

Couple days late but I would like to see a few more chapters or just parts dedicated to the viewpoints of some of the other characters, especially Immortal Knight, Liliana, and Tiara. Loved the recent developments for Michael and his soultraits and the changes they've introduced to him and others he's augmented. My only cautionary note is not make majority of the cast entirely dependent on Michael for their development, but it seems you are aware of that. Cheers! and #mentalhealthfirstpriority!
Also wanted to say: When in the middle of a large exposition dumps, a change of perspective for like 1/4 of chapter can shake up the pace for readers. In the last few chapters, examples would be seeing some of the meeting/drama while the punishment was being decided or the interrogation, even if the outcome was that their memories were wiped. I personally think that development was too important to be revealed in a single sentence (or maybe I am overthinking it).
Slow chapters for the sake of being slow and adding word count aren't fun for anyone. Slow chapters that build tension, develop the world, and show interactions and perspectives we wouldn't have otherwise seen are great!

However, going through the [Ancient Pet Sitter] Class, it got more normal once you got past the initial skills.
