He caught it right before one of the winder higher up the castle that Nick knew for a fact was McGonagall's office. Shortly after that the elderly witch stormed into the area angrily and snatched up Harry with a stern expression while Malfoy had a sneer on his face. Nick held his broom tightly and wanted to hex the boy but knew better. The broom in Nick's hand however seemed to pick up on his hostility and shot out of his hand directly into Malfoy's nose with a sickening "CRACK!" breaking it and knocking him out.-

Nick's eyes bulged out slightly at this as the man hadn't used a wand for that nor did he recite a spell. For anyone not aware this was not a big deal as literally all wizards used magic but Nick was aware that wandless silent magic was not part of what the general public was capable of casually doing. Nick gave her a chance to walk away after the open prank on Luna but since she chose to stomp on his generosity he was going to teach her a lesson. Turning around he caught the hex with the tip of his wand and flicked it to the side before casting a string of harmless but cruel illusion spells at the girl. "FALSUS AURUM! PERVERSA MUNDI! CHORUS CICADAE! INVORTO!" He spoke rapidly and without stop for all four spells sending a line of back to back different colored lights at the girl. They all struck her and a look of horror and nausea showed up on her face before she threw up and the ground.-
