I just realized that since the CS depends on psionic strength then the piloting talent will be proportional to how likely they are to break through.
As for the Transhumanists, human ascension became more accessible to the masses than ever. The possibilities that Ves brought to the table opened up an easier and less convoluted way for humans of all stripes to grow stronger.

I was thinking that there's no way that the MTA and CFA decided to fight against the 5SC without some sort of anti-psionic defense. At least something to block psionic presence. But in retrospect, they reason obsess over advanced mech pilots because they are probably their only decent anti-psionic defense.
Without being able to evade the mysterious attack, the crew was doomed. No shield generator and no hull plating was ever designed to block such an inexplicable attack method.

I guess the original formula for ziegra was. Big Cat + Destroy Mechs. And after a long period of time receiving lots of impressions and spiritual feedback from satisfied mech pilots, the mech pilots infected Ziegra with their goodwill towards Ves, so now it's Big Cat + Destroy Mechs + Ves Makes Helpful things + Goldie is Family.
It may be because the Crown Cat had melded extremely closely with his father, but Zeigra possessed a much greater compatibility with Ves!
