Maybe, but in his final form with the rinne sharingan... I just don't see it. You can make a solid argument for them defeating Madara with the double rinnegan, but even that is debatable. Overall I think if Madara went full power he would kill both of them before they mastered their abilities, but if he gave them more time than it would be more of a struggle with an uncertain outcome.

He's saying that Fugaku isn't Uchiha Madara, and therefore, why is he letting everyone get these big ideas? Basically, Fugaku doesn't have the insane power of Madara, and the clan will eventually be overwhelmed by sheer numbers if they try to fight.

I know it looks like that, but you gotta understand that everything is basically one point. So any techniques he wants will cost one point, and skills/memories of Nie Li are even more expensive. With so many techniques and the higher cost of the skills/memories, it's gonna take a crazy amount of points to match Nie Li. Remember, in the beginning, it might look like a typical power fantasy with no stakes, where Shen Yue just got the protagonist's strongest ability, but it's actually not even close to that. Shen Yue is in a strong position with his background and system, but Nie Li right now still holds most of the cards. That's not even talking about the Sage Emperor, who could ruin everything if Shen Yue and Nie Li are too busy fighting each other.

That would be a very dangerous decision to make. If Nie Li dies, then Shen Yue will stop getting system points and won't be able to get all of Nie Li's powers. On the one hand, he won't have to worry about Nie Li. However, he'll be weaker, and his chances against the Sage Emperor will take a nose dive, especially because he wouldn't have taken Nie Li's fated one title.

Scheming is a good way to pass the time.

Okay, Shen Yue is shocked because if Nie Li actually reaches bronze rank with a red core after Shen Yue points it out, he would need to have a secret technique that lets red cores cultivate. Then he is risking his life because it's crazy dangerous to reveal such a big secret when he's so weak. The main thing is that Shen Yue drew attention to the fact that Nie Li would need a secret technique that no one else knows to cultivate, which wasn't pointed out by anyone in the og story. So Shen Yue probably thought Nie Li would be a little more low-key and safe, but Nie Li is Nie Li.

Interesting. Slow/steady progression makes it seem more realistic, and thanks for taking the time to answer all these questions people keep having. Most authors just ignore them, which I don't blame them, but still, thanks a lot for flushing the story out.

Perhaps. With his genius, he might be able to recreate it, but is the opportunity cost worth it? If he spends all his time trying to create the magic system, which would basically be useless in his own time, it would be kinda dumb. It would be interesting, though, but as I said, there's a lot of other stuff that he can do to cement his legend.

Was an interesting and in my opinion a good plot twist. We were already warned about the protagonist's luck and plot armor, so this actually makes a lot of sense.
