Nyxts - Profile

Although I could harp on about the various strong points this novel has, at this point, this level of quality has become the expectation when reading a novel written by Awespec. The characters are well-defined and fleshed out, each having their own backstory that impacts and shapes the personalities they were given. In the same vein, this kind of planning allows each and every character to come alive, instead of being simple cardboard cutouts of archetypes seen in the vast majority of novels. As for the story itself, although it shares similarities to a few of Awespec's other novels, namely Rebirth of the Nameless Immortal God (RMW to us longtime fans)and Grand Ancestral Bloodlines, it takes its own unique spin on the tried and true concepts and makes them its own. Despite each chapter having a longer average length than the chapters of his other novels by a factor of 3, Awespec somehow makes those 3000 words feel as if you've only read 1000, immersing you in the story so deep that you don't even realize the time passing. With this kind of writing, getting hooked on the story and eagerly waiting for more chapters to come out on the whim of our favorite sadistic author is a given. Overall, there isn't enough plot introduced quite yet for me to confidently say how amazing this story will be in the future, but I can guarantee that it has the potential to be one of the very best.

Awespec is one of the only authors I know that has insane update frequency and stability while still only putting out pure bangers with each book and this one isn’t looking any different.
